Why Does Tatt2Away Use a Dot Pattern in Tattoo Ink Removal?

Laser removal is the most common tattoo removal method using a focused light beam to explode tattoo ink particles into smaller pieces. However, lasers can cause significant pain and require numerous sessions (10-12 on average).  They have limitations on what colors are treatable and the client risks skin discoloration or scarring. Laser tattoo removal requires the exploded tattoo ink to be processed through the body’s lymphatic system, which could potentially lead to complications. A recent study from Lund University in Sweden found that “tattooed individuals have a 21% increased risk of overall lymphoma relative to non-tattooed individuals” and “laser treatment for tattoo removal seems to ‘drastically’ modify the risk of lymphoma.
In contrast, Tatt2Away’s patented dot pattern method produces a natural healing response to expel the ink through a series of small abrasions in a controlled circular pattern.  This method produces results with less skin damage and quicker healing times allowing for a more precise removal of complex tattoos with varied colors.
